Stony Point Center caters to writing groups for their retreats and workshops. We offer simple accommodations and great nutritious food with vegan, vegetarian and meat options at each meal. We have meeting spaces for small and large groups and lots of space indoors and outdoors to spread out for individual projects. We also cater to individual writers seeking a quite place to write.
At Stony Point Center, writers can relax away from city concerns, or focus on their own projects, free from distractions. For a quiet get-away, we especially recommend sojourning Sunday through Thursday, when there are often fewer large groups on our campus.
We can help sojourners arrange transportation from NYC or surrounding airports.
There is also a small hermitage on campus. This is a one-room, quiet spot with a bed, table, chairs, and a composting toilet. If you're looking for some alone-time in a rustic setting nestled under the trees, this is the perfect spot for you to get away.
If you're going to be spending time studying with us, visit The Center and Library for the Bible and Social Justice on our campus (clbsj.org). They have a great selection of books and lots of space to spread out in.
