Stony Point Center has recently opened a stunningly beautiful Art Space - it includes pottery, woodworking and fiber studios, as well as a Great Room and Gallery. The Great Room is ideal for quilters, painters, puppet makers, and weavers - big, bright and open, with skylights and lots of windows. The studios can be used for a number of different things: papermaking, dyeing, collage, spinning, pottery - both wheel thrown and slab-built. The woodworking shop has a full set of tools. The space is handicapped accessible. It is a place to let your imagination run and your spirit soar.
The Art Space is available to guest groups - bring an artist with your group or ask Stony Point to provide leadership. Using art is a great way to enhance your program or retreat. We also are inviting artists to lead workshops for all abilities. Of course, as well as a great art workshop, participants will receive the full Stony Point Center experience - a great conference and retreat center offering meals made from scratch, simple accommodations, sustainable values, and a spirit of hospitality.
We look forward to welcoming you.
