Stony Point Center is a Conference Center located in Rockland County.  Our faith-based non-profit offers a unique, nurturing work environment.  We are currently hiring for two important positions in our organization.

Building Attendant and Guest Services Support

Full-time with benefits package

We are in need of a building attendant to maintain our conference center to the highest possible standards, interacting with guests and tending to meeting room setup and clean-up. This person should be comfortable managing audio/visual setups and performing minor repairs and building maintenance.  This position gives the opportunity to work closely with many departments; front desk, housekeeping, kitchen staff and our hospitality team.   This position calls for a self-starter who can work independently but also enjoys being part of a team. The candidate should have the ability to lift 40 lbs and conversational Spanish speaking ability is a plus.

Part-Time Information Technology Support Technician

Ten hours per week – flexible schedule

We are in need of a self-starter who has enough experience with PC hardware,  software and networking equipment to solve office problems.  This person would be responsible for maintaining a 15 user network for our staff and a campus wireless network infrastructure for guests.    Work includes maintaining desktops, laptops, custom application support, a point-of-sale system, documenting procedures and troubleshooting office equipment.  Responsibilities include interfacing with vendors that provide phone and internet service.  Applicant should have 2+ years experience in the field of information technology [or a degree in a related field]  and the ability to work independently.  The candidate should be proactive in order to implement procedures to streamline the technical support tasks.
