May 19 – 22, 2013

A conversation among practitioners and dreamers who are trying to create intentional, intergenerational, alternative Christian Communities.

Living in an alternative Christian Community? Interested in starting one?

This is a conversation for practitioners and dreamers who are creating intentional communities that are:

  • Intergenerational

  • Nurturing Christian Practice

  • Providing radical alternatives to dominant U.S. culture

  • Residential and non-residential

  • Supporting Young Adults who are exploring faith and vocation

  • Seeking to live the Gospel faithfully in the world

This is designed to be a consultation, not a conference. We are inviting those who are experienced in community formation, those who are attempting to start new communities, and those who are in the dreaming stage.

The Consultation will be facilitated by Rick Ufford-Chase, Rob Fohr, Karen Hernandez Granzen, and Jin S. Kim. Meeting style will be “Open Space” and heavily dependent on the participants and the movement of the Spirit.

NOTE: This is not a “Let’s start a movement” event. It is designed to support one another in sharing,  problem solving and learning from each other about our specific contexts.
