Stony Point Center is the perfect venue to host a work group per person. Arranging to work as a group during your stay allows for a deeply discounted rate of just $50 per night (includes 3 meals). Working together on landscaping, painting or cleaning projects builds rapport amongst your group members and lets you see satisfying results at the end of your stay. Work groups often take advantage of boating in nearby Harriman State Park or our proximity to New York City for a mission or sight seeing trip. There are opportunities for fellowship and dialogue with members of our multifaith, intentional community dedicated to peace & justice. Call Mary Romano now to discuss availability at 845-786-5674 x101.

Contact us if you would like to arrange for your group to come and help Stony Point Center with significant buildings and grounds upgrades. Email Paula Sandusky for details and reservations.

Food Justice Retreats

We are pleased to offer groups the opportunity to spend up to a week on campus participating in a hands-on learning program in food justice and sustainable agriculture. Groups are welcome to visit from March through November. To learn more about Food Justice Retreats, click here.

Community Service

While you are here, you may also want to work off-campus. If so, there are various organizations you can reach out to in the surrounding area including New York City. Two organizations you may contact are People to People, a food pantry in Rockland County, and Midnight Run, a group in NYC that provides food and clothes to people living on the streets of the city.
