When asked to describe their experience at Stony Point Center, our guests often begin by praising their dining experience. It is our goal to offer a variety of delicious, nutritious foods, tailored to the needs and preferences of our guests.
Healthy food, to us, means food that contributes in sustainable ways to the well-being of
our own bodies,
the lives of those who produce the food,
and the land it is grown on.
Reflecting our values, food at Stony Point Center is prepared “from scratch” in our own kitchens, using produce from our own gardens and local growers whenever possible, and using fair trade chocolate and coffee.
"appreciation for your healthy and abundant food...I noticed that you have added more healthy options to your menu; things like plain yogurt, vegetarian options, nuts and fruit..."
~Music for People

Every meal at Stony Point Center includes vegetarian options.
With advance notice, our kitchen staff is happy to provide for other special needs.
Some of the needs we have fulfilled in the past include:

In addition, a small refrigerator and microwave are available in each lodge, for the use of individuals who, for health reasons, need to bring some of their own food.
Guests at the Gilmor Sloane House may opt to have special meals prepared and served there. The two formal dining rooms there are especially well-suited to sit-down dining. Depending on the size of the group, we can serve buffet, family style or plated meals. Based on availability, the Gilmor Sloane House is also an attractive venue for special events such as birthday parties, reunions, and high teas. You'll have the opportunity to speak with our chef and personalize the menu for the occasion.
Guests at the Allison House may opt to use the kitchen there to prepare their own food, instead of eating in the Evergreen dining room. Rates are adjusted for groups who choose this option.
