Stony Point Center is looking for a full-time Guest Services Manager. We are a 175 bed retreat center in the lower Hudson River Valley that serves over 10,000 guests per year and 6,000 meals per month. We provide space for about 750 events per year. Stony Point Center is also home to the Community of Living Traditions, an intentional community of multifaith resident volunteers dedicated to the practice and study of hospitality, nonviolence and justice. The Guest Services Manager is a management position that plays a vital "hub" role in the guest experience and how their needs are communicated to the rest of the managers, staff and volunteers at SPC. It involves a great deal of personal contact with conference guests, supervision of custodial and transportation staff and volunteers, and creative problem-solving. This position requires that the person live on campus and share responsibility for being on call for guests. Salary is $27,000 plus appropriate housing and full benefits.

Candidates must be even-tempered, outgoing, self-motivated, and very detail-oriented. Time management, consensus-building, organizing, analyzing, customer service, problem solving, computer, and communication (oral and written) skills required. The ability to balance the need for a longer term view while prioritizing immediate tasks is critical. Conversational Spanish a plus.
