Jake CinnamonFernCurrent SPC Artist-in-Residence Paul W. Jacob (Jake) has curated the work he has been crafting during his stay at Stony Point Center into an exhibit called "Falling onto the Ground: Autumn Leaf Prints and Haikus." It will be on display in the Art Space Great Room until February 12 for SPC guests, neighbors, staff and friends to peruse and explore. After that, it will  begin traveling to several libraries in the surrounding region: the Ramsey Public Library in February, Sloatsburg Public Library in March, and New City Public Library in April. Jake will also be leading writing workshops, lectures, and readings at the Tarrytown, Montvale, Ramsey, Ridgewood, Sloatsburg, Larchmont, New City, and Warner Public Libraries from January through April, and facilitating two spiritual retreats at the Graymoor Spiritual Life Center in Garrison, NY.

These exhibits are part of Jake's effort to build and strengthen connections between the Stony Point Center Art Space and Artist-in-Residence Program with the greater community in Rockland, Westchester, and Bergen Counties. "We are really grateful to Jake for helping us strengthen our connections with these venues," said co-director Kitty Ufford-Chase. "His efforts move us closer to our vision for the Art Space as a resource for connecting art, spirituality, and activism across the region."
