What we are up against: In 2025, Trump signed 225 executive orders aimed at dismantling the pillars that hold up our democracy. ICE is deployed in cities across the country, harassing and detaining our neighbors. Our military is now engaged in new conflicts in the Middle East in our name. As of early 2026, 53% of Project 2025 has been initiated or completed. Reproductive rights have been stripped to the point that abortion is fully illegal in Texas and other states with no exceptions. Now Congress is working to pass the SAVE Act, which would require documentary proof of citizenship to register to vote — documents that more than 21 million eligible Americans don’t have. The list goes on and we don’t have space here to share it all.
