Lower Stone Apartment

Across from the Art Space on the first floor of Stone House is the Lower Stone Apartment. This space includes a full kitchen and the option to cook your own meals.
The first bedroom has an amazing view of the Meditation Space through its enormous picture window. A queen size bed, reading chair, antique dresser, and full closet complete the room. The other bedroom features two twin beds on either side of an antique desk overlooking the labyrinth, an antique dresser, a corner chair and small closet.
“Lower Stone” as we familiarly call it, has the basic amenities and living spaces to make your stay a comfortable one—living room, office/planning/game room, as well as an updated bathroom and kitchen. Additionally, Lower Stone has the only private deck (off the kitchen) on campus.
This apartment is typically used by guest group planners, leaders or keynote speakers. It also is quite convenient to expand the capacity of rooming when a group stays in the Gilmor Sloane House. This latter use is actually how the Gilmor Sloane family used it themselves when they had an overflow of guests in their home.
