Given the recent changes in policy affecting so many vulnerable people and work in the social justice arena, Stony Point Center is pivoting from a weekend-long celebration of our 75th anniversary.
The weekend will now be free (with free-will offerings accepted) and centered around inspiring, equipping, and connecting the social justice and congregational groups currently using this safe space for their retreats, planning, and training.
The social justice focus at the heart of the gathering will be in the form of a summit held from 9am – 6pm on 4/5, capped off by a gala celebrating the service of both current and past Stony Point Center leaders and groups. We will also have other speakers as we focus on three primary areas: (1) immigration & racism; (2) gender justice; and (3) poverty & housing. More details solidifying daily.

Bookending the summit is the more traditional celebration of Stony Point Center’s first 75 years through an evening of stories, music, and images on Friday, 4/4, and worship/ground-breaking of a memorial grove on Sunday morning, 4/6.
