Faithful Resistance! Non-Violent/Non-Compliance Training Online 9/29 & 10/6 and In-Person 10/10

Wondering why so many in power, including some who claim faith, are intent on dismantling the protections and supports our neighbors depend on? Grieved that local faith leaders are looking away and letting it happen?

If so, this training is for you.

There’s a place in this work for every person of faith, regardless of your role, your denomination, or how much time you have to give. This training moves folks out of the pews and equips them with real tools to be champions for those in need.

What we are up against: In 2025, Trump signed 225 executive orders aimed at dismantling the pillars that hold up our democracy. ICE is deployed in cities across the country, harassing and detaining our neighbors. Our military is now engaged in new conflicts in the Middle East in our name. As of early 2026, 53% of Project 2025 has been initiated or completed. Now Congress is working to pass the SAVE Act, which would require documentary proof of citizenship to register to vote, documents that more than 21 million eligible Americans don’t have. The list goes on, and we don’t have space here to share it all.

Scripture calls us again and again to defend the widow, the orphan, the stranger, and the poor. Where is your red line? What has, or will, compel you to act on that call?

Seats Are Limited: We have 35 seats available. That’s it. We are prioritizing trusted faith leaders, congregational organizers, and faith communities who are ready to commit fully and put this training to work.

This training includes three sessions: the first two sessions are online (2 hours each), and the third session is a full day in person at Stony Point Center. Please register only if you can commit to attending all three. Seats given up late in the process are difficult to reassign, and we want every spot to count.
