The Large Dining Room has an original Tiffany pendant chandelier that hangs over the expansive table. Although the dining room is sometimes used for serving meals, it can also be used as a breakout room for retreats that take place in the Gilmor Sloane House. 

Just off of the Large Dining Room is the Large Parlor where conversations can continue (or begin) as well as a direct exit to the Eastern side of the wrap-around porch for sunset views.

The Small Dining Room (once called the Breakfast Room) provides a more intimate setting in which to meet. Its window seat on the western side of the building sports views of the pergola and, glen and Meditation Center.

Just through the french doors, the Small Dining Room is connected to the Small Parlor/Living Room and beyond that, the Solarium.

Just off of the Large Dining Room is the Large Parlor (living room). A great break-out space or pre-gathering space (or both!) when used in conjunction. Our baby grand Steinway piano, period furniture, window seats and colorful decor keep the mood interesting and unique: A true retreat from the everyday. 

We can also set up Audio-Visual equipment in here for you if needed.

The more intimate of the two parlors, the Small Parlor centers around our biggest fireplace mantle, hand carved with the blessing: “Peace be with this house” for the original owners.

This room has chairs arranged for conversation and sharing. It also connects to our popular solarium (pictured here). And yes, we can set up the Audio-Visual equipment you need and have free WiFi.
